Any suggestions, insight, info, tips, or comments would be greatly appreciated. ![]() I have developed a dependency on Wavelab's Montage for visible editing. My ears are great and they get me through all of my audio edits. Unlike many people here, I do a lot of my work visually. It took way to long to perform simple tasks and there is apparently no easy (maybe no way at all) way to create crossfades in the graphic waveform view. I looked at Peak 5 and was rather disappointed by how difficult it was to navigate and operate. How about Wavelab's Master Section - is there anything similar to that in Waveburner? I really like the way Wavelab lets you simply drag one waveform onto another to automatically create crossfades. I'm considering purchasing Logic 7 (I have a registered Logic 5 Platinum USB XSkey so I qualify for the $299 upgrade price) in order to get Waveburner 1.1.2.Īre any of the local Waveburner users familiar with Wavelab's Montage? How similar are the two programs in terms of track marker placement, effect use and most importantly crossfading. #Waveburner xskey updateI'm sure it will be nice but I don't feel like the update will offer anything that I don't already have. PG, the Wavelab developer, has made it quite clear that ver.6 is on its way soon. It has, not so recently, been updated to ver.5 to support DVD-Audio. All I have left on my Windows computer is Wavelab. Little by little, bit by bit, I'm moving all of my programs to the Mac. I've also found much better reliability of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat on the Mac. Since then I've moved all of my daily internet and email operations out of the Windows platform and into Safari and Mail in the Tiger OS. About a year ago I bought a Mac Mini to begin switching to Mac. I love the functionality of the program, as well as its ease of use. ![]()
